The multi-million pound building, home to charity and social business The Women’s Organisation, is playing host to an increasing number of events and functions on behalf of a diverse ranges of companies and organisations from across the region and the UK. These include estate agents, law firms, trade unions, universities, housing associations and private companies.
The Women’s Organisation, which helps hundreds of women set up and grow their businesses each year, as well as helping women into employment, is working hard to ensure that 54 St James Street is firmly on the map as a hub of business activity.
Located close to Liverpool’s Chinatown, Liverpool One and Bold Street, 54 St James Street, is designed to provide a light, modern, welcoming and distinctive addition to city life.
“Since 54 St James Street opened three years ago we have succeeded in establishing a premier conferencing and meeting space that is swiftly gaining a reputation as the best venue in town,” said Maggie O’Carroll, chief executive of The Women’s Organisation.
“There is nothing else like 54 St James Street in Liverpool, as we host many high-profile conferences and functions, as well as providing a base for dozens of female-led enterprises.
“We designed it ourselves and are fortunate to have a private garden, providing relaxing external space, as well as two fourth floor terraces that are chilled out, music enhanced, reception spaces with excellent views of the city.”
54 St James Street is also home to a range of female-led businesses and social enterprises as well as more than 100 entrepreneurs who run virtual offices from the premises.
“Not every business requires, or is ready to take on, a permanent office space yet most do require a base from which to project a professional image and where client meetings and events can be held, with an impressive L1 postcode” continued Maggie.
“We are unique because we offer incubation to accommodate businesses of one to 12 people, within an environment in which businesspeople can access support, networking, workshops on a range of subjects and terrific catering facilities.’’
54 St James Street features a range of meeting rooms throughout the building, both formal and informal, available for meetings of two to 150 people. The rooms have a range of high specification audio visual facilities including integrated data projects.
The building also boasts complimentary wireless access throughout, as well as Blu-ray players and smart boards, plasma screens for projection or TV and video conferencing facilities.
A fully flexible service is available offering hourly, half day or full day rental. Prices start at &56, rising to &188 to use the full conference suite.
